Una crescita del 3% rispetto all'anno scorso ($134,121).
La tipica mamma fa mediamente 11 lavori principali:domestica, cuoca, badante, insegnante, lavandaia, conducente, gestore struttura, bidella, operatrice di computer, amminstratore delegato, psicologo.
Per un totale medio di 92 ore a settimana.
100 (cento) metri: la distanza che separava il 29enne Dave Buschow da una caverna con stagno di acqua potabile quando è morto di sete dopo 10 ore senza bere nel deserto dello Utah. Stava partecipando ad un corso di sopravvivvenza.
Le guide avevano con loro delle taniche di acque, ma non l'hanno offerta a Dave, ritenendo che doveva fare da solo, così sarebbe promosso sul corso.

This reflected a 3 percent raise from last year's $134,121, according to Salary.com Inc, Waltham, Massachusetts-based compensation experts.
The 11 jobs listed as comprising a mother's work were housekeeper, cook, day care center teacher, laundry machine operator, van driver, facilities manager, janitor, computer operator, chief executive officer and psychologist, it said.
The typical mother puts in a 92-hour working week.

The guides accompanying him were carrying water, but they didn't offer it to him, feeling that he had to get to the cave alone to pass the course.
Mrs Buschow his mother is, apparently, very angry.
